Rob Thielen
Robertus H. L. M. (Rob) Thielen (born 1961,〔(Executive Profile: Robert H.L.M. Thielen ) Bloomberg Businessweek〕 is a Dutch entrepreneur and investor, working primarily in Europe and the CIS. He is chairman and founder of Waterland Private Equity, and co-founding partner of Russia based private equity group, Elbrus Capital.

Elbrus has made over 80 acquisitions in Russia and Ukraine in companies which fall within its four key investment themes of, business infrastructure, healthcare and education, and support services to natural resource exploitation. Its equity base is around $1,0 billion. Major investments are in radio, television, cable networks, express delivery, industrial laundry and document storage.
